Find Funding

Two people's hands pointing to documents on a desk and adding sticky notes

Charities, community groups and social enterprises face a challenging environment – resources are limited, and funding applications can be complex and time consuming.

According to Pro Bono Economics, over £1.1 billion is spent by charities each year applying for grants, and over two-thirds of applications are unsuccessful. Leading to far too much wasted time and effort.

The Community Investment Gateway aims to do things a bit differently.

Organisations and groups working in the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector can apply to join, whether you're a grassroots community group or a well-established charity. And it’s free of charge.

Once your organisation is accepted onto the Gateway, you are eligible to apply for any funding we channel. Because members have been through our application process and provided a lot of standard information, applying for funding is straightforward as we don’t ask you to repeat the same questions for every new opportunity. Our members find this reduces the time burden considerably.
